2005 saw the United Nations Organisation 60th anniversary. Formed after four years of world war and genocide the United States was determined to lead the world in creating an institution that would act to "save succeeding generations from the scourge of war," and to "reaffirm faith in fundamental human rights.
The U.N. was created to advocate and deliver peace, security and development.
We ask was the creation of the United Nations a good thing, has the United Nations been a benefit to world and does the United Nations have the will and the means to achieve its aims and objectives?
